Blow The Horns
And Bang The Drums!

By Keriana Sidhe

Blow the horns and bang the drums!
From Faeryland the party comes!

Pointed ears and slanted eyes,
Hair cascading to their thighs.

Fair of form and fair of face,
Moving with uncanny grace.

Round and round in dance they go,
Whirling and twirling in the music’s flow,

Clapping hands and stamping feet,
Bouncing to the wild drumbeat,

Tankards of mead hoisted high,
Quenching thirsts of throats long dry,

Feasting and flirting and dancing and singing,
The Elven magicks they are flinging,

Until mortal minds can take no more,
And pass out cold on the forest floor,

And laughing, the merry Elven devils,
Continue on with their riotous revels!

Torches, lanterns, and campfires bright,
Illuminate the Fae Folk’s night!

And with the dawn the silver horn blows,
And back to Faeryland the Elven party goes!
